Job Description

We are seeking a web developer for maintaining and innovating effective, lead-generating websites to work on our company website and other projects as needed. This role is expected to bring an eye for design, along with practical web development abilities. You will work closely with our graphic designers, marketing managers, and other internal / external stakeholders to bring to life to our brand and other website content, via the code you write.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior developers and designers to develop high-quality websites and web applications.
  • Assist in coding and testing web pages, ensuring functionality and performance.
  • Contribute to the implementation of responsive web designs for various devices and screen sizes.
  • Optimize the website page speed using the tool PageSpeed Insights.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebases.
  • Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and latest web technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in documenting technical specifications and project requirements.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap 4/5, JavaScript and JQuery
  • Knowledge of MySQL and PHP
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience with responsive web design principles.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Qualifications:

BSC/BCA/MCA degree / Diploma or equivalent working experience.
