Seagull raises the bar on advertising. Gets French Spiderman to Amanora.

It’s not rare to see Alain Roberts scale the tallest buildings. What is, though, is to see him scale one right in front of your eyes. And even rarer is to come up with an idea that gets him to do so in Pune.



How Seagull Advertising cracked the Spidey idea
The whole idea was to showcase and promote Amanora Towers 1–10, as a world-class futuristic edifice. The objective Seagull had was to establish a sense of pride among the owners/ customers at Amanora Towers. Working in tandem with Mr. Aniruddha Deshpande, Managing Director, City Corporation Ltd., Amanora Park Town, the team at Seagull came up with a clutter breaking, yet immensely effective idea to promote Amanora Towers as a world-famous residential address.

Exceptional response
The response was exceptional to say the least. A crowd of over 3,000 enthusiastic onlookers gathered around Amanora Towers to see the French Spiderman, as Alain Roberts is known the world over, scale the tallest building in Pune. News channels covered the event live. Every national daily in the book wrote about how India in general and Pune in particular should be proud of housing a world-class structure that is so well-planned and technologically advanced. Little wonder, they wrote, the compulsive climber, Alain Roberts was tempted to take up the challenge of scaling it. Little wonder, there was a plethora of enquiries for Amanora Towers from a large number of interested customers in the days following the event.
